Lisa Lauren Tisdell was struck by lightning at birth while her mother was still in labor. Suffering from severe lower spinal injury, her mother (Janet Tisdell) became paralyzed from the waist down. Lisa remarkably survived with out a scratch on her body.

It was not until Lisa could walk that her mother discovered she had super natural powers. During the hurricane season of 1985, the entire city of Metrop blacked out and was with out power. Lisa accidently picked up a light bulb and the bulb began to illuminate in her hand. From then on with the help of her mother, she develops her eletrical powers to find her true purpose in life.
